Uncover
our story

This store is over 30 years old. An established business located in Montebello, CA, it was started by the Hayakawa’s as a Mailbox Etc. until it was converted into The UPS Store 2778. The new owner, Byron Chan, purchased this store in 2015 where this store continued to be a pillar of the community. 10 years later, this store will continue it’s tradition of helping their customers with their needs, now as the Montebello Print & Ship.

Our Services

  • We offer 3 Mailbox sizes and 3 terms of contracts.

Virtual Mailbox options are available for those that only want to receive packages and no physical mail.

    • Notary is $15 per signature and not the number of documents involved.

    • The service is walk in only, no appointments.

      • The notary will commonly head out to Los Angeles on Thursdays to pick up shipment items for out of state clients.

      • He does not have a set time for these pickups so if you are planning on coming on Thursday, best to come after 4:00pm.

    • A notary’s role is as a government sanctioned witness.  Notaries do not have the authoritative power to read, verify, go through or answer any questions about the document itself.  We only witness and log.

    • All documents sets should be brought in their entirety.  (Most commonly, a client will only bring the signature page or parts of a document.  Bring the whole thing.)

    • All signers must be present and must have current Government Identification.  Photo copies or expired ID's do not count.  Neither does school nor does work ID unless it is a government ID such as a military ID.

    • There are two types of notaries in the United States and one of them requires me to witness the client signing the document.  I do not want to confuse you with details so I will simply state to refrain from signing or dating the document until in the presence of the notary.  Everything else in the document can and should be filled out prior to signing in front of the Notary.

      • A notary must verify if everything is on the up and up and make ethical decisions, not beneficial ones.  That means that every decision I make as a notary public must be an ethical decision.  I should never break rules to do a notary, especially for beneficial gain (getting paid) if a notary service cannot be done for any type of reason, a proper notary would decline service and explain the reason why the notary service cannot be done.  There are a lot of Notaries out there and not all of them are ethical.  It's like driving.  Some drivers are good and follow all the rules, but some bend or break the rules because it can be done.  I am not one of those types of Notary's.  I will follow all the rules govern to me and will decline service if necessary.  This will always be to protect my client or because the rules will state that I must, but I will always have an ethical or responsible reason for doing so.  There are a lot of things that fall into this category, but the most common will be:
        - Pre-signing a document when it should not have been, there is a communication or language issue, it cannot be verified if the client understands the document, the document is on complete in either page count or filled out completely, the signer is not present or does not have matching identification.

    • Communications issues are another common issue.  A notary must be able to communicate directly with their clients without the aid of a translator.  This is to prevent any communication issues between the notary and the client.  (Simply put, a translator can simply mistranslate information and a notary would never know.  Even in the best of intentions a direct interpretation can be mistranslated to get a point across, or worse yet, there can be some nefarious issue at play, but in both instances, the notary would not know what is being translated exactly.)

  • We use Iron Mountain Secure Shredding

Please do not Pre- Shred your item

    Shredding is $1.50 per pound

  • We take 2” x 2” photos needed for: Visas, Resumes, Passports, etc.
